Mr. Davidson Received his draft notice in early January of 1970 then voluntarily enlisted in the Oregon Army National Guard. Bob requested an appointment to the Oregon Military Academy for the one-year program for Officer Candidate School (OCS) training, beginning in June of 1971. He graduated from OMA in June of 1972 as a 2nd Lt. as an Infantry Officer and was posted to Fort Benning, GA. He then successfully completed the very challenging training as an Army Ranger, followed by the Mortar Platoon Officers Course. Bob served in the U.S. Army & Oregon Army National Guard, 1970 – 1995, retiring as a Major.

In the summer of 1987 Bob and his wife Ruth purchased a Minuteman Press Printing franchise for the Tigard, Oregon area, from Minuteman Press International. The business was sold in February 2023 after 35+ years of ownership. Bob and his wife Ruth Ann have two children, Daughter Kimberly and son Craig.

Hobbies include collecting Lionel Electric Trains and ownership of a 1955 Chevrolet Nomad Station wagon.
