This 2008 Harley Davidson Electra-Glide Police Special was used by the National Park Service for patrolling Golden Gate Park, and still has less than 50,000 Miles on the odometer.

The bike was purchased from surplus by Veterans Care Centers of Oregon for the purpose of creating a Veterans’ Honor Bike.

The restoration will be coordinated by John Barker of Combat Hero Bike Build of Grants Pass and Mark Daley of Thunderstruck Customs in Medford.

Graphic Design is under development, but we are envisioning air-brush art of war memorials, US and MIA flags, service symbols, and various other meaningful themes to honor Veterans of all Eras.

The Motorcycle will be used in various displays, parades such as the Albany Veterans’ Day Parade, for display at the Capitol during legislative session, and at other Veteran-Centric events where appropriate and requested.

If you would like to make a tax deductible donation to this project, please contact John Barker at or (541) 450-2894.
